At the end of 2013, I received an email from Macy’s and their featured products were from the Benefit Product line. In that lineup, they highlighted a “New” product. Not only was it new but it was a shine control. Because I have an oily T-zone that seems to get out of control during the Summer months or when I’m not eating a balanced diet, I gravitate towards products of that kind. Well I have given this product more than 30 days of trying it out with various foundations and even wearing on my bare face.
CLAIMS
- Matttifying – Yes, it gives an instant matte finish. However, it is not long lasting.
- Pore Perfecting – Yes, it blurs your pores. That’s all.
- Invisible Finish – Yes, but if you swipe your face too many times the product will build-up and appear cakey.
- Ulta Lightweight – Yes.
GRAB or PASS? – Grab, but only at a discount.
This product overall is pretty average. I did not have the “Wow” factor when using it. I have high expectations for products with a $30 price tag and being associated with the very popular Porefessional Primer. I was more excited about the packaging if anything. Because of the frequent application needed, I will get some good use out of it. And I’m not so disappointed in Agent Zero Shine that I would return it. But don’t feel that you “Must Have” this product because you don’t. To be honest, I just purchased another shine control item which gave me more of an impressed reaction than the Agent Zero Shine. It is nice to have in your oily girl arsenal but don’t expect fireworks. Until next time, Love God. Love Yourself. Love Family.
