“I unexpectedly lost 10 pounds while in quarantine. That’s not what I wanted” said the skinny girls in the crumbling world.
Listen I ended 2019 fine as wine and started 2020 maybe shy of my ideal weight. Currently down a little over 10 pounds while in quarantine because… 🗣 🗣STRESS!! Most individuals who struggle to gain weight deal with stress by NOT EATING. The energy used for stressing causes the appetite to be suppressed. For those with the opposite problems are reading this in disbelief. Yes, we exist.
Talk about upset, the weight loss happened without me even noticing. While folks on social media were talking about the extra weight they gained, I’m looking at my clothing that once fit so well, now fit too loose. Why baby Jesus? 😫
Ok, so now that my panic is over, I felt it would be appropriate to give my blog a refresh and share my weight gain journey back to my “fine as wine” size. My sweet spot for my body where it’s not too big but curvy enough to cater to my slender frame. Believe it or not, I reached my body goal in 2019 without thinking about it or thinking about it eating. I honestly was living my best life and it just showed up at my door like, “Hey sis.”
The only reason why I’m being strategic now, is because I need to form new habits while being indoors more than usual. Living my best Pre-COVID-19 life included social activities multiple times a week. Naturally with socializing I was eating and drinking at a higher rate.
I posted a poll on my YouTube channel to get a feel on what my audience wanted from me and my return. Not surprising that over 60% wants to see a “What I Eat in a Day” video.
My order for new protein and honestly making use of the food I already own, I’m developing a plan. The goal this time around is to make this weight gain journey super simple with foods that are easily accessible or already in my possession. The protein I got this time around is a smaller packet and a different flavor. Looking forward to sharing my experimentations with you.
Goal: 10+ pounds within a month-ish. LOL! Life happens so I leave wiggle room in my goals. 😂
When I start, I’ll let you know in the blog posts so you can keep up with my progress.
Ahh yes, feels like 2013 but with a little more wisdom.
