I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Ayanna, of this new black owned business located on U Street, Primp Beauty Bar. The business is a beauty supply store that carries high end and low end hair products. There will be a wide variety of makeup, hair salon and fully functioning bar coming soon. I highlight that it’s a black owned business because there aren’t many beauty supply stores owned by African Americans, ironically. She was so pleasant and informed me about the upcoming Shea Moisture event.

Last week was a tough one. I was supposed to be on vacation and I spent most of the week in bed because of illness. So by the time the weekend rolled around I figured I would make the most of the week and record some videos. So the Government is still shutdown and people are curious as to how to stretch a dollar. Even before recent government shenanigans, you were probably curious as to how to save while shopping.
