Welcome back to Part 2 of the 13 Lessons Learned on my Weight Gain Journey 2015. Let’s just jump right in on where we left off, #6.

  1. Every Journey Ain’t the SAME – I don’t know why I would get so frustrated when I started to compare myself to others. No two bodies are the same. So why was I sabotaging myself and my journey?

For those of you that are still on your weight gain journey, how are things going? Share in the comment section. Anyway, I figured since this year has been really good for me reaching my goals, I would share with you some natural foods that you can eat to help you put on some pounds.

Sidenote: Yes Yes Yes, I am working on the video for recipes.

Majority of the recipes in that video aren’t 100% clean.

I wanted to write a long commentary on what’s been happening on my journey but I figured it would be easier to just split them up. No one really wants to read a long dissertation. That’s the point of creating a blog, to have a site dedicated to content for more than one post.

Anywho, I just wanted to let you know that I am now comfortably sitting at 115lbs. Some of you may be familiar with a post I uploaded on my on my facebook page when I was so close to hitting 116lbs.

Here’s a new segment I’ll try and stay consistent with this year. As I mentioned in my videos, all of you who are reading my weight gain posts are my accountability partners. These posts help keep me going on this weight gain journey. I will start off by posting these segments every other week.

Instead of posting pictures on Instagram of what I’m eating or drinking, it may be helpful to share ideas of what I’m eating at a high calorie count.

Hey Skinnies,

I had to share what I’ve been loving lately. I always thought that the tuna option would be a waste to start including in my lunch routine. The Conscious Box is a healthy living subscription service that I’m subscribed to. The young lady in my online group made me aware that Orgain Organic Nutritional Shakes are available in drugstores,

So I have been on and off track the past month and can’t seem to keep it on the straight and narrow. (sighs) Well in the midst of my inconsistent behavior, I’ve been using the same ideas in the morning to try and get in high calories. My weakness is the evening time when I hardly have any energy left to cook, so the morning time is extremely important to me. To see the tutorial for all of the breakfast ideas,

Hey Skinnies,

I know my update is long over due. I haven’t been updating as much because there has been no change. I did get to 111lbs but lost that one pound. But I’m sure for some of my readers, you’re curious to know about the journey.

Week #3 Recap

So I recorded a video on my laptop talking about things that I realized and highlighting foods that are nutritious and high in calories.

Hey Skinnies,

Here’s the very late recap for Week #2! This past weekend I usually keep sacred as my “cheat days”. Cheat Days = Give myself permission to eat any kind of way without judgment. I hardly ever take advantage of the cheat days but I still keep them in place to be sure I stay on track five days a week. At this point I’ve trained myself (and my taste buds) to enjoy real foods.
