If you’re following me on Instagram, then you are aware of some purchases made from the New L’Oreal Privee Collection by Color Riche. L’Oreal gathered most of their spokeswomen to represent the different shades of women for each nude collection. A customer would be able to see which spokeswoman best represents them which would help them find their perfect nude. To be honest, I would disagree and say that most women can get away with wearing any shade they choose.
So far I only purchased two but I’m thinking of going back to get more. If I purchase more, I’ll share swatches in another post. I’m really liking these lipsticks as well as the nail polish I purchased from the collection. The lipsticks are a bit sheer but enough to see a great hint of color. Oh, and did I mention just how moisturizing these lipsticks are, it’s amazing! The packaging is to die for, no joke. Check out what I got!

L’Oreal Privee Lipstick by Liya
This is a very good nude for women of deeper skin tones. The collection is by Liya Kebede. It’s not too dark with a hint of shimmer in this very deep brown. You can easily apply this to the lips with no assistance from a gloss or lip liner. This could easily be deemed a staple of your travel makeup bag. I have two pictures to show you what it looks like in different lighting.
L’Oreal Privee Lipstick by Eva
This lipstick is by Eva Longoria and this is more on the light pink side with subtle hints of gold. I like it but I would prefer to use a dark brown or prune liner to give it some kind of dimension. This Spring I’m really exploring with different shades of nudes which will include the shades I usually shy away from. Like the Liya lipstick, it’s sheer but just enough color for someone to notice it on your lips. I have two lip swatches one without a liner and one with a liner to show the difference.

L’Oreal Privee Nail Polish by Freida
I didn’t pick up the lipstick from Freida Pinto’s collection but I did grab the nail polish because it just called my name. Such a beautiful rose pink nail polish. This polish pretty much goes with anything, as a nude should right? Good thing is the L’Oreal nail polish quality is usually on point and this collection was no exception. In the picture below I didn’t use a base coat or top coat which I normally use religiously. So what you see is how the nail polish looks on its own. Keep in mind that paint job was rushed and about two days old. Not bad. It dries pretty quickly too.
