In the beginning of the year, I was on a serious hunt to find the Black Radiance BB Cream at my local drugstores. With luck and plenty of phone calls, I found it and purchased it. What made this particular BB Cream special, was the fact that it was cosmetic line that caters towards women of color. The shades run very deep! This is a plus for women of color that are often neglected in popular items such as the ever popular BB Creams within the mainstream cosmetic companies.
After using the product for months, I felt that it was best to use it along side another thicker BB Cream or foundation that I want to thin out. Using it alone, unfortunately, isn’t for me because I have “oily girl problems.” The formula of the product is on point. It’s very smooth and I feel it blends in well into the skin. Let’s get into the checklist, shall we?
Longwear: Not really a longwear type of product.
Coverage: Very light. Think tinted moisturizer. It just evens skin as just like it promotes.
Oil Control: Not good. You will need a primer and possibility a powder too. It depends on your shine level.
Shade Range: Perfect for women of color. Woo hoo!
Price: $5
Grab or Pass?:Oily girls can PASS UNLESS they are willing to take the extra steps for shine control. Dry skin ladies will love this BB Cream.
